Silent Witnesses of Time
Revering Historic Homes as Living History
One of my favorite things is to compare “then and now” images of houses or buildings set many decades apart, observing the delicate dance of change against constancy. I’m captivated by images where saplings mature into towering trees, their growth mirroring the buildings they’ve kept company. Amidst the relentless tide of change, these lasting sentinels offer comfort—a testament to resilience through time.
Portals to the Past

Though we can’t traverse time, historic structures serve as portals to bygone eras. With a detective’s keen eye for detail and a dash of imagination, we can glimpse into history’s depths. I’m here to arm you with the knowledge to not just look, but see beyond the surface, into the heart of what once was.
